When considering fostering, many people will wonder how it will affect their children.
This Children of Foster Carers’ Week we’re running a special webinar, where we’ll hear directly from grown up children of foster carers about their experiences of growing up in a fostering family, and the impact it had on their lives.
The session will explore how foster carers can best support their birth and adopted children, including how to involve them in the fostering journey, recognise and respond to their needs, and help them feel valued as part of the fostering family.
We’ll also celebrate the amazing role children of foster carers can play in helping children and young people in care feel safe, supported and able to thrive.
Speakers to be announced.
