At The Fostering Network, we use our expertise and influence to help make foster care better for every fostered child and foster family. Our helplines provide information and guidance on all issues affecting foster carers and fostering services.

If you are a foster carer with concerns or queries about coronavirus and local practice (such as contact arrangements) or its impact on your fostering because of health then please contact your fostering service in the first instance as they know you, your family and the children in your care. If you have immediate health concerns then you should contact the NHS.

The member helpline is an advice and information service for members of The Fostering Network who are based in England. Members can call us on 020 7401 9582. We are open Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). We operate a call back service. Please leave us a message, clearly and slowly, stating your name, telephone number and very briefly what your enquiry is about.
We will always return your call and aim to do so within one working day.

Our advice and information service in Northern Ireland is independent and confidential and is complementary to the support provided by health and social care trusts and independent fostering providers. We also deliver finance workshops for foster carers and other professionals involved in fostering.
