Foster Walk is our annual sponsored walk for fostering, held during Foster Care Fortnight. Now in its 11th year, Foster Walk is a great way to get outside, meet new people and raise awareness of fostering as you walk with others in the community.

We will be meeting at the Guildhall, Guildhall Street, at 1.00pm and will walk a short and accessible route across the Peacebridge and Craigavon Bridge, then back again. The walk will be less than two miles.

Everyone is welcome, so whether you are a foster carer, a fostering friendly employer, a member of a fostering team or a supporter of foster care, we would love to see you there!

If you would like to fundraise for Foster Walk, you can encourage your friends and family to donate to our Foster Walk Northern Ireland page.

Special guest, Fatima Whitbread, said:

“This Foster Care Fortnight I am joining foster families, fostering services, supporters and friends on Foster Walks across the UK, helping to raise funds for The Fostering Network. I know change is possible when people come together to work for a shared vision. Will you join me in celebrating and supporting the fostering community this Foster Care Fortnight?"
