Permanence conference to take place in Wales

The Fostering Network in Wales is holding a conference to discuss permanence in foster care on Tuesday 1 December.

Permanence in Foster Care: improving choices and life chances for children and young people, developed in partnership with fostering services, will focus on permanence in foster care in Wales. The conference will hear from key policy makers, learn from services which are implementing the changes and contribute to ongoing policy, and practice development to ensure permanence options such as When I’m ready really work for children and young people. 

This event is essential for everyone involved in fostering, particularly supervising social workers; children’s social workers; independent reviewing officers and fostering team managers.

The conference will take place at 1 Caspian Point, Pier Head Street, Cardiff bay, CF10  on Tuesday 1 December, between 10.30am and 2.30pm, and lunch will be included. The price of the conference for members of The Fostering Network is £25, and for non-members it is £35.
