A training course for fostering services and professionals involved in assessing and supporting kinship carers. This course will cover the legal and policy framework for kinship care, including the assessment process, and the kinship care strategy.
The course will develop particpants understanding of the needs of kinship carers and the common challenges they face. It will focus on the importance of establishing trusting relationships when assessing kinship famlies and best practice in the delivery of meaningful, high-quality support.

To strengthen the quality and consistency of support offered to kinship families through informed, reflective practice.
