This course will provide the opportunity to evaluate and review agency policy and guidelines for managing allegations against foster carers and define the roles, responsibilities and good practice principles when dealing with allegations.

As well as allowing participants the opportunity to explore and review agency policy and guidelines for managing allegations against foster carers and to consider roles, responsibilities and good practice principles when dealing with an allegation, this course will also provide the opportunity to look at preventative measures and how guidelines can be put into place that protect children and young people and also allow the necessary supports to be in place for carers before, during and after an allegation.
