Join us for this webinar focusing on the challenges surrounding mental health support for children and young people in care. Meeting children's needs and supporting them with complex trauma, as well as managing risk without specialist mental health support can be difficult for carers and professionals. Complex mental health systems and long wait times, can compound these difficulties. This webinar will highlight these issues and acknowledge the hard work of practitioners and carers continuing to support children and young people in these circumstances. Different approaches to providing mental health support will be discussed, as well as signposting and sharing of best practice and relevant resources.
