A unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energetic individual to join a well established team of home workers providing an independent Advice and Mediation service to foster carers and fostering staff in Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council .


If you are a qualified social worker or equivalent ,with experience of working with foster carers, and you are passionate about ensuring that foster carers receive good quality support and are treated fairly at all stages of their fostering career, then we would be interested in hearing from you.


You must be able and willing to travel widely across these local authorities and make regular visits to London for team and other meetings; have excellent communication skills, good powers of argument, persuasion and negotiation, and an ability to make effective relationships with foster carers and staff.
