Working with almost 60,000 foster carers and more than 400 fostering services, we are the largest membership organisation for fostering in the UK.

The Legal Assistance Helpline provide The Fostering Network members with access to 24/7 365 legal advice, on any legal matter, whenever they need it.

Care First offers professional counselling services to The Fostering Network household members, aged 16 and over.  It provides support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with access via their counselling helpline.

Whether you have signed up as a member individually, or your fostering service has bought membership for you, all our foster carer members receive market-leading legal protection insurance that covers everyone in the household.

How can I get in touch with The Fostering Network?

How do I make a change in my account?

Details on how to update your household information, personal details, or communication preferences can be found in the  ‘Getting started guide’ in your welcome pack.  

Where do I find my account details?

You can find your account details on your dashboard homepage. Your virtual membership card, located in the top left-hand corner, displays your membership number, household name, and membership type. 

Which browsers are compatible with The Fostering Network website?

For the best experience, we recommend using one of the following modern browsers when accessing our website: 

  • Google Chrome 

  • Apple Safari 

  • Microsoft Edge 

  • Firefox 

What if I no longer have access to the email address associated with my account?

Please contact our membership team at [email protected]. Include your old and new email addresses, along with the name of the fostering service you foster for (unless you are a retired foster carer member). 

What will my personal details be used for?

You can find information about how we collect and use your personal data in our Privacy Statement. 

Do I need to click on the 'Forgotten Password' link every time I log in? 

No, you only need to reset your password once. After logging in for the first time, you can simply enter your email address and password to access your account going forward.
