Fostering had extended our family - Robbie's story #SandD2015

My name is Robbie and this is my second time doing this. Just want everyone to know its a cool thing to be a foster bro to so many different babies and children who all end up feeling like part of my family. For example we had a baby who got adopted when he was two-and-a-half, and last week we were at his christening and he still feels like part of my family. His new mum and dad are like my aunt and uncle - fostering has just extended our family.

I was seven when we started fostering - now I'm 13 and I like it more now than I did at the start. It's a life changing experience not just for the foster children but for us birth children who foster . We have a group and my brother named it the 'Caring Crew'. We are all sons and daughters of our parents who all foster - we meet a few times a year and it's great fun and it's good to talk to people the same age and living the same lifestyle ie busy busy as we are.

I wouldn't change anything about being a foster brother I love it .
