A unique opportunity has arisen for a qualified company secretary or by virtue of professional qualification or a minimum of two years as a company secretary, or experience as a legal adviser who can help us to improve the lives and life chances of children and young people in foster care.
Kate and her partner Natalie have been foster carers for four years and became Mockingbird hub home carers for Trust Fostering, part of Doncaster Children’s Services Trust, in 2018. Over the last 15 months going in and out of lockdown, they have started setting regular competitions and organised activities to keep the children in the constellation entertained. This has not only supported relationship building within the constellation but with the wider community as well. Kate tells us more.

The Independent Review of Children’s Social Care in England, led by Josh McAllister, today published their Case for Change report.
We’re looking for an implementation manager, funded by The Promise Partnership to join our team in Scotland. Your role will be to lead on the recommendations and guide the changes required by The Promise at The Fostering Network as well as to support stakeholders and membership in the implementation of The Promise. You will have excellent knowledge of The Promise and Care Review in Scotland and how it will impact on care experienced children and young people.
