Fundraising during COVID-19

Digital ideas

1. Raise money with your online shopping

Online shopping is so useful at the moment as it offers zero contact and everyone is staying at home so will be in to receive their deliveries! Why not use this to fundraise at the same time?!
  • Amazon Smile: Shopping through Amazon Smile enables you amass donations on your items – at no cost to you. Amazon donates 0.5 per cent of your purchase price (on eligible items) and to register couldn’t be easier!

Foster Care Fortnight 2020

The theme for this year's campaign was This Is Fostering to convey a varied and authentic picture of the contributions of the people involved in fostering and how foster care transforms the lives of children and young people across the country.

We want wider society to understand and value fostering and the positive difference it can make to young people’s lives and we hope this increased awareness will build support for fostering, challenge stigma surrounding children in foster care and encourage more people to consider fostering.

Foster Care FortnightTM

Foster Care FortnightTM is our annual campaign to raise the profile of fostering and show how foster care transforms lives. The theme of this year's Foster Care Fortnight was how foster care changes futures and this year was our biggest yet!

Supporting fostering this Christmas

2019 has been fundraising-tastic here at The Fostering Network! It’s been brilliant to work with many of you on your fundraising journeys – we are extremely grateful to you for raising as much as you can so that we can support those who foster and the children in their care.

2019 - a year of fundraising

Here at The Fostering Network, we love fundraising! It’s the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, try something new or take a hobby that little bit further while raising money to support those involved in fostering.

Clear skies and a bright future for fostering

On a glorious Saturday morning in June, Philip Jacob, funding and development manager at The Fostering Network, joined a happy throng of around 180 of our members, supporters, staff, friends, and family, all gathered to celebrate our fifth Foster Walk London.
