Salary: £22,138 - £24,000
Place of work: 40 Montgomery Road Belfast BT6 9HL occasionally based at Grove Ballynahinch
Hours: 36 hours per week
Fixed Term for 1year

We are currently looking for a project worker to help us deliver the Step up Step Down programmed funded under National Lottery Community Fund's "Reaching Out, Supporting Families Programme" delivered by The Fostering Network, in partnership with South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust.  Aimed at families with children under the age of 12 on the edge of care, this programme utilises the skills of foster carers to support them.

With a third level qualification in education or youth work or equivalent experience, and significant experience of developing work within a community context, you will be a highly motivated self-directed individual able to work in partnership with the project team.  Your ability to develop effective working relationships, to design and deliver programmes of training and support, resources and activities will help to meet identified need and integrate families into their communities, ensuring that project outcomes are met.  Your exceptional communication and engagement skills will ensure the project is delivered in an inclusive and participative manner.
