Fostering Changes for independent agency foster carers in Wales

The Fostering Changes programme is being delivered free to foster carers in Wales until April 2020 by the Confidence in Care Consortium (The Fostering Network, Barnardo's, Tact and Action for Children).

The Fostering Changes Programme is behaviourally based and derives from research into parenting skills, attachment, educational attainment and the academic progression of looked after children who are in foster care. It is a flagship course for foster carers that provides them with the practical skills in behaviour identification and management that will support the longevity and stability of placements and make a significant difference to a looked after child’s life.
