Further information about your nomination
The awards judges reserve the right to move a nominee into a more appropriate award category without consultation.
Up to three winners will be selected for each award, with the exception of the Jon and Kathy Broad Award, where one winner will be selected from applicable nominations of the Outstanding Contribution by a Foster Carer Award (i.e. nominations of foster carers who specialise in fostering children and young people with learning disabilities).
If the person you nominate is selected as a winner or shortlisted for an award, you will be contacted by August 2019 and we will give you the opportunity to tell the person you nominated that they have been shortlisted or selected as a winner.
If we are unable to contact you within a reasonable time to inform you that the person you nominated is a winner, we will contact the winner directly to inform them that they have won. If we are unable to contact you within a reasonable time to inform you the person you nominated has been shortlisted, we will not be able to send them a certificate to recognise this.
Due to the volume of nominations, we are unfortunately unable to contact you if the person you nominated has not been shortlisted or selected as a winner. Similarly, nominees who are not shortlisted or selected as a winner will not be notified.
The award ceremony for the Fostering Excellence Awards 2019 will take place in London on Wednesday 23 October 2019.
Winners will be invited to attend with you, as the person who nominated them.
Nominees who are shortlisted will not be invited to attend the ceremony, but you will be sent a certificate to present to them in recognition of their achievement.
Please give us as much information as possible about the person you are nominating - their nomination will be judged solely on what you say in this form. Please include specific examples of why you think your nominee deserves to win. You must complete all information marked with a *.
